Brian Packer

Brian and his wife Dara are born-and-raised Marylanders, high school sweethearts, and parents to three amazing and active kids, plus a dog who’s by far the best listener of them all! Seafood lovers through and through, they first learned of Outer Banks Boil Company as customers while on a beach vacation in Delaware.

In 2021 Brian & Dara decided to make a big move and relocate south to St. Augustine. The amazing weather, beautiful beaches, and rich history of the nation’s oldest city made St. Augustine the perfect choice.

“As soon as we spent a few days in St. Augustine we fell in love with the area and knew it was the perfect place for our family to build new roots. And after living here just a few months, we knew we wanted to deepen those roots by starting a business venture. Something that wouldn’t just be a job, but that would be a part of the community. That’s when I reached out to Matt’s team, and a year later we’re so stoked to finally be bringing the absolute best seafood experience to the first coast.”

Whether St. Augustine is where you call home, or if you’re visiting “the ancient city” for its beaches, history, a wedding destination, a golf vacation, or any other reason, we can’t wait to meet you and be a part of your story."

Scott Dailey

Originally from Los Angeles, after living in various locations throughout the U.S. and Costa Rica, I found myself in Corolla, North Carolina. After meeting my wife, Katie, what was only supposed to be a one-time summer season stop, quickly turned into a five-year stay. While in the Outer Banks I bounced around as a server, bartender, and even as a tour guide before I landed at OBBC; and what a great place to land! After working in the original Corolla shop, then the Kitty Hawk location I knew how amazing of a company this was to be a part of, especially being surrounded by such awesome people. After our wedding in November of 2022, Katie and I decided we wanted to start our new married life in a more tropical environment; however there was one problem…I didn’t want to leave the OBBC. After hearing the company was going to expand with another location in Florida, I saw my opportunity. I approached Matt (founder of OBBC) and offered my services. Matt was instantly excited and told me all about the new location in Saint Augustine and new partner, Brian. I couldn't believe it was in one of the top locations Katie and I had wanted to move…what luck! Everything just seemed to fall into place. Now it’s time to get to work and bring the best pot on the beach to Saint Augustine!
